Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly unanimously passes resolution condemning Indian government for snatching Ali Gilani’s body

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution condemning the snatching of the body of Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly paid rich tributes to Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani. The House offered Fateha for Syed Ali Gilani. The House paid homage to his services for the independence of Kashmir. He strongly condemned the snatching of Syed Ali Gilani’s body by the occupying Indian army.

The House also made important legislation. The bill to provide protection to witnesses to incidents of rape and terrorism was passed with amendments by the opposition. Under the law, a seven-member Witness Protection Board will be set up under the chairmanship of the Home Secretary. The House also unanimously approved an amendment to the University Act, which would establish a University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Swat.
