The parliamentary delegation was given a detailed briefing on the border and security situation. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan Army has achieved unprecedented success in the war against terrorism with the help of people.
With timely measures on the western border, the borders have been secured and they are ready to deal with any situation. Peace and stability in Afghanistan are essential for the economic development of the region.
Reiterating his commitment to support the Kashmiris’ struggle for independence, the Army Chief said that the establishment of peace and stability in the region without resolving the Kashmir issue is a dream.
